Our Mission
The Ivins City Public Works Department is committed to providing essential infrastructure and municipal services that protect public health, promote safety, and enhance the quality of life for all who live, work, and visit our community. We do this with integrity, efficiency, and a dedication to excellence.
Public Works oversees the planning, construction, operation, and maintenance of Ivins City’s vital infrastructure systems. Our responsibilities include:
- Water (link) – Delivering clean, safe, and reliable drinking water to homes and businesses
- Sewer (link) – Operating and maintaining the sanitary sewer collection system
- Stormwater (link) – Managing runoff, reducing flood risk, and ensuring compliance with state and federal permit requirements
- Streets (link) – Maintaining over [insert miles] of city roads, sidewalks, signage, and snow removal operations
- Fleet & Equipment – Managing the city’s service vehicles and heavy equipment.
- Planning and Engineering (link) – Managing the capital projects and ensuring new development provides infrastructure that meets City standards.
- Maps (link)– creating and preparing the mapping for Ivins City.
